ry first one and became a topic on their Seinfeld Episode. But instead of listening to each of my calls (I called back with more info), they used the google talk translator which translated my call into some strange ramblings.  I think the only thing that would have been funnier is if they somehow could get William Shatner to read the translation.

Here are a couple of pictures of the area.  I needed a place to plant some pumkin seeds so I put them in this area for this year.  These will be for carving.  Pie pumpkins are in containers.  As you can see, the area has lots of dead spots.  Our back yard is small and is mostly the dogs’ area.  Our side yard is bigger and where the kids play.  Since nobody usually sees the back, it tends to not get as much of my attention.  I prefer the green solutions that Ananda suggested over the hardscaping.

Anyway, here is the area in question and one of my dogs, Gypsy.  While I cringe publishing the photos and when I called also, I figured others would have the same issue, so here it is.  Take a listen.  It’s worth it.
